Let's talk about weight loss, shall we? First off let me say that 90% of my clients come to me to lose weight. Obesity is an epidemic in North America and even though it's much worse in the US, it's alive & well here.
Weight loss (for the average person) is a very, very, very difficult thing to succeed at for so many reasons. Our lifestyle, culture, genetics etc.
However, it is made even more difficult in my opinion by the fact that the "lifestyle gurus", nutritionists, dieticians (and yes ... even trainers) tend to make it much more complicated and time consuming than it needs to be.
In our fast paced, instant gratification culture nobody has the time or patience for a program/regime that is overly complicated. No one has the time, patience nor inclination to count calories, calculate macros and live with the typical deprivation of the typical plans out there.
So, if you're one of these people and simple but effective is what you're after, you've come to the right place.
Enter my ECLW Nutritional strategy!
(ECLW = "Eat Crap And Still Lose Weight")
These pics above are a result of my ECLW NUTRITIONAL STRATEGY. I dropped 35 pounds of FAT in 90 days.
Keep in mind, this was about two years ago, and I'm still at 178 pounds today despite the fact that since that initial 90 days I have NOT followed my strategy fully because I do NOT want to lose any more weight.
Furthermore, I'm almost embarrassed to reveal that for the last year at least, on a weekly basis my treats consist of SIX (yes you read that right) chocolate bars and about SIX (again you read that right) bags of potato chips ... generally eaten at between 11pm and 1am!
I know I know ... I'm a trainer and I should be setting an example. However let me be clear. I do NOT for one moment suggest that YOUR diet should follow mine. I'm just revealing this to prove a point about my "ECLW Nutritional Strategy".
Here's a picture of the print out I give to clients detailing my lose weight program. For obvious reasons I've blurred it out here (you're not a client yet right?😉) but if you look closely you'll see that after the header, it basically consists of FOUR lines of text. The first line says:
You don't have to change "WHAT" or "HOW MUCH" you eat but ...
The other three lines lay out the three steps to the actual strategy. THAT'S IT.
I've been training people for going on thirty years in Toronto and I've never been able to give a client such a simple, clear, concise and effective meal strategy prior to these last couple of years. Of all the weight loss programs out there, I promise you it doesn't get any simpler than this.
Now the strategy works well on its own. However, it works BEST when combined with a specific workout that I do.
This workout is also the epitome of simplicity. FOUR SIMPLE EXERCISES ... done only twice every workout.
Not only will this combination of workout plus nutritional strategy give you the fastest results, but it will make you the fittest you have EVER been. As if that were not enough, it will increase your strength and more importantly ... make you toned and firm in the process. (You do NOT want to be "skinny fat", trust me!)
So ... that's it.
By the way ... as an aside, I had Cora (my wife) help me to proof read this site and when she got to this page you know what she told me? "Colin ... this might sound like a total scam to a lot of people, do you really want to make it seem sooooo simple?"
My response was ... hey it IS simple ... so I'm not gonna make it seem COMPLICATED just to appease some people's cynicism! However I get her point, even to me ... when I read it I think man ... this really does sound too good to be true!
But ... it is what it is. 😉
So now you know what it is (kinda) and why you would want to do it. I'm assuming if you're reading this page you want to lose the fat and become lean, fit and toned as fast as possible, right?
Well? What are you waiting for then? Go here to see next steps!
